New PhD Thesis explores the use of electrodes to domesticate PPB for pollutant removal from wastewater or microbial biomass production
The doctorate thesis ‘Electromicrobial strategies for sustainable growth of purple phototrophic bacteria’ was defended last April by Carlos Manchón Vállegas at University of Alcalá. The work has been developed under Dr Abraham Esteve-Núñez’s supervision and funded by the Industrial Ph.D. fellowship programme from the Regional Government of Madrid IND2020/AMB-17843.
